Oriental magic

 Oriental magic

What is this oriental magic? This is a very interesting topic. This oriental magic is mainly broadcast from India and its related countries. Also, this oriental magic has received Hindu and Buddhist inspiration. The reason is that these religions are the most powerful religions that arose in the East Indian region. Oriental magic can be analyzed in many ways. This oriental magic is included in many legends and past stories. Examples of such stories are Ramayana and Mahabharata. According to the Eastern knowledge system, these stories actually happened in the past. There are many stories like this in Buddhist knowledge systems. It is difficult to say that these are magic stories. But these stories mention things that challenge reality in some places. Therefore, these stories can also be put under the category of magic stories. The 550 Jataka book can be mentioned as the source of such stories in the Buddhist knowledge system.

Oriental magic according to the Hindu system of knowledge

Hindu knowledge system is one of the oldest knowledge systems in the world. Also, this Hindu knowledge system is a knowledge system that has a much larger content than all other knowledge systems. The concept of oriental magic can be found in the Hindu system of knowledge. The sages mentioned here are people with special powers. They can change some things in reality. They also have the ability to connect with the gods. Sometimes the gods grant them special powers. Walking in the sky, walking on water, creating something, making something disappear, controlling energies like fire with one's body, appearing in different forms, disappearing, enlarging the body, shrinking the body, communicating with the mind, controlling objects with the mind, Seeing the past, present and future, reading minds, entering someone else's body are just some of the things they can do. It is mentioned in the Hindu system of knowledge that in order to get this kind of power, one has to do meditation and yoga for a long time. It is said that anyone who has meditated for such a long time and has the necessary qualifications can get these powers. Sages are people who have acquired these abilities after meditating for a long time. In the Hindu system of knowledge, there is a special yoga practice that should be practiced in this way. It is called Kundalini by name. The energy gained through this yoga practice is called Kundalini power. It is said that one who obtained it is as powerful as a god. He even gets the ability to interact with the universe. A person who has obtained Kundalini power in this way will get all the abilities I mentioned earlier and will also get the ability to know the secrets of the universe. So this is how the Hindu system of knowledge can be known about the magic of the East. Although there are more complex facts in the Hindu knowledge system in this regard, I will mention only the few facts that I have found. If necessary, I will write another note about this later.

Oriental magic according to the Buddhist knowledge system

About a fortnight ago, I came with details about the Buddhist knowledge system. So today, these few facts are added to those same facts. According to the Buddhist system of knowledge, Eastern magic is very similar to the Hindu system of knowledge. The reason may be that both these knowledge systems originated from the same area. But there are some different and interesting things in the Buddhist knowledge systems. The Buddhist system of knowledge mentions a special power called Rriddhi. A person who has acquired this Rridhi power can travel in the sky, walk on water, travel to other worlds and dimensions, increase body size, reduce body size, change reality, create matter, make matter disappear, control various energies, etc.  There are many abilities to change the image, to control certain objects with the mind, to change the composition of something, to enter the body of another person, to imagine several bodies at the same time. And there is another power called Chutupapatha Jnanaya. This is a special psychic power. This is to know where someone has been reborn when someone dies. In addition, there are many other powers in the Buddhist knowledge system. The Buddhist knowledge system mentions many other abilities such as reading the mind of others, seeing things from a distance, and hearing things happening from a distance. And in the Buddhist knowledge system, it is mentioned how to get these powers. It is mentioned here that these powers are generated through meditation. Many meditation methods are mentioned in the Buddhist knowledge system. Those meditations can be included in 2 main categories. They are Samata, Vidarshanaya. It is said that these energies can be generated if the mind is concentrated through meditation. But Buddhist philosophy does not care much about these powers. Because the end result of Buddhist philosophy is that the attainment of moksha is greater than the attainment of these worthless powers.

In the Buddhist and Hindu systems of knowledge, the concept of maya goes deeper than this. And in both these systems of knowledge, more attention is given to their moksha, which is more valuable than these magical powers. So I mentioned some illusions I saw in these two knowledge systems. Most of the stories about these illusions are mentioned in the books of these two knowledge systems. If I can again one day, I will write a blog post about some of those stories.

  thank you
