The gods

 The gods

We talked about ghosts in a previous blog. So today I thought I would tell you what kind of things are mentioned in different knowledge systems about Gods. It is very difficult to say when the concept of God first started. Because people have worshiped God since ancient times. The concept of God first started because people living in the past believed that various natural phenomena were done by an all-powerful group called God. People of the past thought that not only lightning, storms, whirlwinds, volcanic eruptions, but also things like the sunrise, sunset, and the change of seasons were caused by God. In short, the idea that everything in the world happens by God's will had spread among people since that time. But no one has actually seen this God. They used to call what they could not understand as God. Later, this concept of God came among religions.

What is the concept of God according to each religion? As I mentioned earlier, people who lived in the early days believed that even ordinary natural phenomena were God because of their ignorance. But later, with the spread of religions all over the world, this concept of God became more complicated. Also, as mentioned earlier, these religions greatly influenced the belief that God is the creator of everything in the society. So, in several major religions of the world, the view that this god is the ruler of all is mentioned. Also, in other religions there is an opinion that there is no such thing as God or that Gods do not have omnipotent power. Especially in some religions, it is mentioned that Brahma is greater than gods. So there are people who believe in this group called God, and there are people who don't. The people who do not believe in these gods say that all phenomena in the world occur due to some physical cause. It means that some physical phenomenon affects the eruption of volcanoes, lightning, whirlwinds, and fires. Therefore, this group is known as materialists. There are many gods in Hinduism. Chief among them are the three main deities called the Trinity. One of these three is called Brahma. Also, in Christian and Catholic religions, God is mentioned as an almighty. Also, Islam mentions an all-powerful God. Ancient Greeks and Romans also believed in gods. God is also mentioned in Buddhist philosophy. But God in Buddhist philosophy is not omnipotent. There are facts about God in various knowledge systems like this. This blog is the first to talk about God. I will publish another related blog post later.

Should we believe in God? Different religions, philosophies and knowledge systems have different gods. Those gods are different from each other according to their knowledge systems. So are these gods real? Are we supposed to believe it? The simplest answer to this is to do what you like. Because we still don't know for sure whether God exists or not. Therefore, we cannot come to a conclusion. So we can be neutral. I think that is the best thing to do.
