What is this Sakwala?

 Sakwala

What is this mean? Another world? Or a galaxy? No, not this anything. But according to science, I could not find a name to introduce Sakvala. So let's see what this Sakvala means according to Buddhism.

According to Buddhism, there are 31 worlds in a sacvalak. These 31 worlds are 4 hells, a human world, 6 heavens, 16 form Brahma worlds and 4 formless Brahma worlds. I have explained a lot about these worlds of Brahma in an earlier blog, so today I have to tell only about these hells and heavens. You know about the human world.

So it is mentioned in Buddhism that there are 6 heavens in one sakwala. These worlds of gods are arranged in order according to their power. The heaven with the least power is at the bottom and the heaven with the most power is at the top. The previously mentioned Brahma worlds are located even further away. So let's see the order of the world positions in this Sakwala from bottom to top.

•First of all hell world 4

  •Second, the human world

  •Thirdly, the 6 heavens

•Fourthly the 16 worlds of Rupavachara Brahma

•Fifthly the 4 worlds of Arupavachara Brahma

So this is the number of the world in a Sakwala. In general, Buddhism states that the number of sakvalas in the universe is infinite. So, in a very dark area between these two sakwalas, there is a world called the lokantharika hell. It is said that that world is very dark and cold. In addition, there are 9 cold hells that do not belong to these Sakwalas. It is said that the cold in those hells is unbearable.

Now let's understand each world one by one.

The 4 hell worlds can be named as Niraya, Asura, Beast, and Ghost. In other religions it is mentioned that niraya is the hell that torments those who have sinned after death. The other three worlds are worlds with less resources where sinners are born. So those who commit sins are born in these four worlds.

Next is the human world we live in.  The good world starts from the human world. In the human world there is more or less both pleasure and pain. But the human world is also presented as a comfortable world.

Next are the 6 heavens. It is mentioned in Buddhism that these are very happy places. There is almost no such thing as sorrow in this world. Gods do not age, they do not sweat, their bodies do not discolour. So these gods live happily ever after.

Finally there is the world of Brahma. These are also comfortable worlds, but there are many peculiarities here. There is no difference between men and women in the worlds of Brahma. That means all Brahmas are masculine. Now you must be thinking, then how are Brahmans born? Hell, Asura, Preta, God, Brahma mentioned here do not get children from physical relationship. They come down automatically. This is called the birth of Opapathika. But all these groups have physical relations. But Brahmas do not have any physical relations. Also gods can get sick but Brahmins don't even get sick. It is said that the Brahmas in the world of Akanita Brahma, which is the last form of Brahma, have the same body. None of the brahmas in the formless Brahmalokas have a physical body, so they do not feel any kind of physical sensation. They are a group of people with only minds without bodies. Their mind becomes their body. So all these rupavachara and arupavachara Brahmans do not get any sexual pleasure.

This is what is mentioned about Sakvala in Buddhism. Also, there are 31 worlds in each of the infinite universes. It means that if we take the entire universe, even if only the worlds where humans live, there is an unfathomable amount. That means our world is not the only world with humans in the universe. There are countless more like this in the world.
