Who really is this Brahmas?

Brahmas

Brahma

  As the second article in the series of articles about Buddhist civilization, I thought to say who is Brahma. Who really is this Brahma? Are other people a division, or are the gods a division? not. Brahma is a separate group of beings. They are much more powerful than the gods. There are only two systems of knowledge about Brahma in the world. One is the Buddhist knowledge system we are talking about today. The other is the Hindu system of knowledge. Both these knowledge systems are two very old knowledge systems. In both these systems of knowledge, the group called Brahma is mentioned as a very noble group.

  According to the Buddhist system of knowledge, Brahmas live in special worlds called Brahma Lokas. Those worlds are above the human world and the six heavenly worlds. According to Buddha's teachings, there are 20 worlds of Brahma in one sakval. These 20 worlds of Brahma are divided into categories based on various matters. According to one form, this world of Brahma is divided into two parts namely rupavachara and arupavachara. The main difference between these two parts is that in the rupavachara brahma worlds, brahmins have a physical body, hear sounds and see images. But in the formless Brahman worlds, the Brahmans do not have a physical body. They have a mental body. And they have no sense of images and sounds. In addition to this category, there are several special worlds in the rupavachara brahma lokas. There are five brahma lokas called suddhavasa brahma loka. All these five Brahma lokas are rupavachara Brahma lokas. But the brahmins in these Suddhavasa brahma lokas are greater than all other brahmas. Because in these Suddhavasa Brahma worlds, according to the teachings of the Buddha, only those who are anagami are born. Another world that exists in the worlds of formless Brahma is the world of unconscious Brahma. This world of unconscious Brahma is also a bit special. Because the Brahmas here have no heart. There is only the body. This is the description of the wonderful world of Brahma.

  So, what should be done to be born in these Brahma worlds is also mentioned in Buddhism. I said earlier that there are 20 worlds of Brahma. Four of those 20 Brahma lokas are formless Brahma lokas. The remaining 16 are the rupavachara brahma worlds. In these rupavachara brahma worlds also there are five great brahma worlds called Suddhavasa. There is another world called unconscious Brahma world. There are also ten more ordinary rupavachara brahma lokas. If arranged sequentially on these Brahma worlds,

  •The ordinary of Brahma are the ten worlds.

  •The world of the unconscious Brahma.

  •The five worlds of Suddhavasa Brahma.

  •The Four Worlds of Formless Brahma.

  Looking at this list, you can see that Arupavachara Brahma Loka is ahead of Suddhavasa Brahma Loka. Yes, but the brahmas of the suddhavasa brahma worlds are greater than the arupavachara brahmas. Here's how it happens. Formless Brahmas have not attained moksha, the ultimate goal of Buddhism. But the Suddhavasa Brahmas are very close to that point. Because it is mentioned in Buddhism that those who are anagami will definitely attain moksha. So because of that, Suddhavasa Brahmas are superior to Arupavachara Brahmas.

  So I was going to tell earlier how Brahma is born in these worlds according to the Buddhist system of knowledge.

  So, first of all, if you want to be born in the ten worlds of ordinary forms of Brahma, you have to attain the Dhyana Samapattis through meditation. This is a very deep matter. So if one dies while having the ability to attain the dhyana samapatis, he can be born in these ten ordinary Brahman worlds.

  Next, if you want to be born in the world of unconscious Brahma, you have to develop a meditation called unconscious samadhi.

  In order to be born in the Suddhavasa Brahma worlds, one has to be anagami. It is very difficult to explain.

  Finally, in order to be born in the formless Brahman worlds, one must first ascend to the highest level of the form meditation levels and meditate up to the formless meditation levels. This is also a very difficult task. After death, can be born as a formless Brahmin.

  However, it is mentioned in Buddhism that these Brahmas are a very powerful group. These Brahmas have the ability to surprise even the gods with their abilities in many cases. The lifespan of these Brahmas is very long. These Brahmas live longer than the gods. It is not mentioned anywhere that these Brahmas are an aggressive group that makes war. Because these Brahmas have nothing to gain by fighting. To say something else, the most powerful and greatest living entity in any Sakvala is called Brahma.

  There are a few things that need to be said in particular. This Brahman is not God. Brahma is a higher group than the gods. Also, concepts such as Maha Brahma in the Hindu system of knowledge are very different from Brahma in the Buddhist system of knowledge. According to Hinduism, Maha Brahma is the creator of the world. But according to Buddhism, the world has no creator. From that you can understand how much difference there is between these two knowledge systems. So don't confuse Brahmins in Hindu and Buddhist knowledge systems.

from = rupavachara

fromless = arupavachara
